The Alarm Cat

When I was a kid, I always go to my grandma’s house when there is a lengthy period of school break. So at one time, it was school break on December I guess (I don’t really remember). I always sleep with my grandma because of the mosquito net that they use (IDK it feels kinda fun being inside it xD).

At that time, my grandma has two cats namely ‘Tedung’ & ‘Anjang’.Tedung is a female cat & Anjang is a male cat. That cat named Tedung always wake me up every morning right about at 8 sharp.

Everryyy singleee morninggg.

She always sneak at my grandma’s bedroom door & went to my place to lick my face to awake me :D sometimes she licks at my feet, sometimes could be at my face, my fingers..and there was one day that she bring along her cute little kittens to wake me up (aaaahh cutee xD)

Days by days I already knew that about 8, the cat will sneak at the door to wake me up. And I once woke up earlier too & wait to see if she sneak up to the room. A few seconds later, I can see her went in to the room then went to my place. I was very happy that time cause I knew she’ll come ^^

But that one day, I was awoke by myself. I waited for the cat to come. It took a long time for me to wait for her & I was wondering where is she? Why didn’t she go to the room to wake me up anymore? Did she forget me? :( didn’t she want to wake me up anymore? I looked to the bedroom door, it’s opened but where is she? :(

So I wake up from bed and take a look outside. The front door to upstairs is closed. I’m guessing she’s at the other side of the door that can’t get in. When I open the door, I see her meowing at me. She can’t go to in because of the door is close, now that’s why :)

I thought she would forget me by that time. I almost cry though ;)

However, she was a heart melting cat I ever met. The cat that once be my alarm clock (alarm cat I guess? ;D) every morning on school break by that time. Hoping to meet a cat like that again <3
